Hi Carissa, I enjoyed your blog very much and appreciate you sharing the version of “Jesus loves me”it is very unique and eerie, there is a depth to it. So of course you know I had finished reading Gentle and Lowly by Orlund as per your recommendation, and it is one of the best books I have read, it fed my faith in such an amazing way. After that book I read another Bronte sister book. I read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I’m always pleasantly surprised how they do not sugar coat the characters in their books. I have taken up an Os Guinness’book “Long Journey Home”. He’s a difficult read for me but I figure if I glean one sentence that feeds my faith I have gained. Keep posting I enjoy your thoughts.

Thank you for the encouragement! So glad Gentle and Lowly was such a refreshing read. I might have to spotlight that book in my next newsletter :) I enjoy Emily Bronte, too. Let me know how Long Journey Home goes for you. I'd love to read more from Os Guinness!

What have I been reading? Hmm, I don't really read manual books so much, I always get to read as a blogger reading from another blogger like you. I love reading write ups like this one here and over one year of my blogging life, I've learned so much that has kept on bringing out the beauty in me. I hope to keep on reading as I can and keep getting better and better.

I remember for this year 2022, I've seen so many movies but then, the one that got me was a Nigerian movie called TRAFFIC, in this movie I got to understand the importance of doing what you want over what other wants. I cannot say in detail how the movie impacted me but it did impact on me.

Since last year when I started my blogging journey, I've written a lot of non fiction stories that gives out morals and also I've joined some few contests and challenges that have brought the best part of me.

For the aspect of pondering, I think all that was on my mind for the whole year was, **pushing**, I never gave myself the option of giving up on anything.

You have amazing things you did that brought out you beauty and you just made me recount mine now, thank you so much, I'm really so happy #dreemport brought me here.
